We came to realize it was because the walls were very thin. Speaking of volume, there were a few notes around saying to keep the volume low. The tv was a Roku tv which was nice enough but a little challenging to get the volume correct as it wasn’t very responsive. A little too firm for some but better than sinking to the bottom. The sheets were nice I think maybe microfiber and the bed was firm. Also there was a fireplace but as we were here in early October I don’t believe it was usable. The en-suite bathroom was small and the room had a ton of knick knacks and antiques. The basement and second floor have a kitchenette for convenience with ice, but there is no complimentary water or coffee outside of the breakfast time. We were in the Mediterranean Room which is nicely appointed with a balcony and is located on the second floor of the house. He was friendly enough but never introduced himself or anything like that. When we arrived the owner, (I’m assuming from other reviews was Scott) showed us to our room and let us know when breakfast was and the door codes. My mom booked this b&b for a quick birthday trip for us to go to see a play.
